Rooms at Ivy Terrace cost $125/night plus taxes. These rooms are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Once they are taken, or if you prefer the extra privacy, there are nearby lodging options in Saluda. (We can provide some suggestions.)
For more information on securing a room, please read the confirmation email you receive after you register.
The registration fee is fully refundable up until 30 days prior to the event. We’ll then apply a 50% cancellation fee up until 15 days prior to the event, at which point the registration fee will be nonrefundable. We cannot make exceptions to this policy.
You can register and pay the registration fee via the “Registration” button on this website. You will then need to secure and pay for your lodging separately. If you are staying at Ivy Terrace, we’ll take your payment by phone.
The Asheville Regional Airport is the closest airport to Saluda – only a 20 or 25 minute drive depending on traffic. Charlotte International Douglas Airport is another option but is an hour and 40 minutes away. We are not able to provide a shuttle service to and from the airport, so you’ll need to rent a car or use a taxi or a rideshare like Uber.
We do not use oil, but we use some salt and sweeteners to flavor our food. Our approach is based on the guidance of Dr. T. Colin Campbell. In the context of a whole food plant-based diet, where you are consuming a ‘tsunami’ of healing nutrients, a little salt or sugar is not consequential to your health, unless you have an extreme salt sensitivity. For most people, low amounts of salt and sugar within a nutrient-rich whole food plant-based diet have no deleterious health effects. For more information, see Nelson’s substack post, “Why We’re Different,” on this website.
Our menu plan is not gluten-free and due to kitchen and other limitations, we cannot accommodate people with other food allergies. Our meal plan includes nuts, seeds, wheat, and other delicious healthy plant-based ingredients. If you have questions about our meal plan, please contact us.
