In light of all the changes around us in this season of COVID-19, Plant Powered Metro New York (PPMNY) — a PPC Pod encompassing many smaller Pods and other empowered leaders from NYC and surrounding counties — decided to pivot and create an entirely new set of online events to maintain and build momentum while supporting communal wellness. Their spring series includes a variety of educational webinars, live culinary demos, and informal virtual meet-ups, including some events expressly for Spanish speakers — all focused on health-promoting, evidence-based nutrition to boost our immune systems.
