Description

This pepperoni spice blend is the perfect blend of spices for pizza toppings, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. We love to toss it with roasted cauliflower and walnuts, roasted tofu, or rehydrated Soy curls.  No more spicy pepperoni cravings!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 teaspoons coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a spice blender and blend until finely ground.  Store in an airtight container.

Notes

A small coffee grinder works beautifully for making spice blends, but keep one dedicated just for spices. Using the same grinder for coffee can leave lingering flavors that affect both your blend and your brew.
