Vegan Mac & ‘Cheeze’

A traditional comfort food, with hearty whole wheat pasta tossed in a creamy “cheeze” sauce with peas or your favorite veggies.

Cook time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4-6

  • 2 medium pans
  • whisks
  • mixing spoons
Ingredients
  • Meal starter pouch
  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • Any other vegetables of your choice, such as carrots or broccoli
Directions
  1. Cook the whole wheat pasta from the meal starter pouch in boiling water for 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium pan, place other pouch contents, peas, and plant-based milk.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat for 10-15 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
  4. Mix the sauce with the pasta and serve.
