It’s that time of the year again, when we look back and wonder what happened to the year. Time flies and our lives are precious, which is why we should not be afraid to take chances. I think courage is borne from an awareness of the temporal nature of our lives.
Today, I would like to focus your attention on the courageous work of the nonprofit PlantPure Communities. The video we are sharing in this newsletter is focused on PlantPure Communities, which you can view here.
This organization supports our growing Pod network (now involving well over 130,000 people), strategies to bring the plant-based nutrition message into low income communities, and a new effort to bring together environmental and health leaders into a coalition to help communicate the incredibly important connection of our food choices to climate change. PlantPure Communities also is involved in an exciting project with a major partner in New York City that I will share more about after the New Year.
