Brainstorm Media has acquired the digital and broadcast rights to the film and will release it on demand everywhere November 17. The DVD will come with English and Spanish subtitles and is currently available for pre-orders exclusively on the PlantPure Nation website, with shipping starting November 21.
The documentary film PlantPure Nation tells the story of three people on a quest to spread the message of one of the most important health breakthroughs of all time. After renowned nutritional scientist and bestselling author T. Colin Campbell (The China Study) gives a stirring speech on the floor of the Kentucky House of Representatives, his son Nelson and Kentucky State Representative Tom Riner work together to propose a pilot program documenting the health benefits of a plant-based diet.
We’ve been working hard this summer and into the fall with our city volunteers to launch an international network of local groups committed to spreading the message of plant-based nutrition. Called Pods, these local groups have been formed in over 140 cities, primarily in the U.S. but also in several other countries around the world. PlantPure, Inc., and the nonprofit PlantPure Nation Foundation will work together to support these Pods as they work to reach others in their community and spread the message of the benefits of plant-based eating.
