Through a collaboration between PlantPure Communities (PPC) and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies (CNS), Group Leaders in the PlantPure Communities Pod Network are eligible to apply for a limited number of Scholarships for the Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate Program offered through CNS and eCornell. This scholarship opportunity is intended to ensure that the educational benefits of plant-based nutrition are shared with leaders in communities across the country who are working to improve their lives, the lives of their neighbors and their community.

The application for round 8 is now open, and the deadline for submission is April 15th at 11:59 PM ET. It is anticipated that the PPC staff members will make scholarship award decisions by early May 2020, but that may change, depending on the volume of submissions.

Eligibility for this round of scholarships is limited to Group Leaders and Co-Group Leaders who have been active in their Pod on or before February 15th, 2020. 20 scholarships were awarded in 2019, 15 scholarships awarded in 2018, and 20 scholarships awarded in 2017. By applying for a scholarship, you understand and accept that, if selected to receive a scholarship, you will:

–Mentor a minimum of 2 Group Leaders who are connected to the PPC Pod Network over the next year. Please click here for details on the mentorship program.

–Submit a photo and allow your name and photo to be used for PPC publicity, including but not limited to social media connected to the scholarship.

–Provide a quote about why you applied for the scholarship and what your expectations are about what you will do with the information you learn from the course.

–Share a short written description after 6 months about what the scholarship has meant in terms of impacting positive outcomes for you and your community that we may use for our social media and/or other publicity.
